This guide is for shoppers looking at designer and fine jewelry on olivela.com, a fashion and jewelry marketplace. It is not a review of the products. We have not tested any product. We read the store's own help pages and checked outside review sites. Policies change, so check the current pages before you pay.

Quick answer
- Return windows vary by jewelry brand: The help page lists 7, 14 or 30 days from shipment, and some brands as final sale (read 26 October 2026).
- Returns can cost money: A $9.95 restocking fee applies per returned item, unless you take store credit.
- Shipping pages disagree: The site banner says free standard shipping on every order. The FAQ says free over $100 and a flat $10 below.
- Mixed outside record: Trustpilot shows 3.5 from 246 reviews, but BBB gives Olivela Inc. an F rating.
- Verdict: A real, operating retailer, but check final-sale status and the brand's window before buying, especially for high-priced jewelry.

Who runs Olivela
The terms of service name Olivela, Inc. as the operator and were last updated September 14, 2022. The site footer says Olivela Inc is a subsidiary of Schoola Inc and that the two have a commercial relationship. The privacy policy lists a mailbox at 15 West 38th Street, New York. BBB lists a different New York address and a start date of June 7, 2019.
The site says orders are fulfilled directly by the brand and that items are guaranteed authentic. That is a store claim we could not independently verify.
Sizing and fit
Fit is the main risk with rings and made-to-order pieces. The help center says many items can be exchanged for another size or color, with a free prepaid label and one exchange per order. Exchanges must be shipped back within 14 days. Spinelli Kilcollin rings have their own page: a size exchange is subject to availability, and if your size is gone you are told to email for a custom order.
Engraved items are made to order and cannot be returned or exchanged. We found no resizing policy for jewelry in general, so ask help@olivela.com before you buy a ring.
Shipping and delivery
The FAQ says orders over $100 in the United States ship free by standard ground. Orders under $100 pay a flat $10. Select items can be upgraded to Next Day for a fee. Delivery estimates are shown per item at checkout, and some custom items take longer. Each order can go to only one address.
Once placed, an order cannot be modified. You can email to ask for a cancellation, but it may not be possible once the order is prepared for shipment, and items sold as final sale, including pre-orders, cannot be canceled. If a designer cancels, the help page says you are refunded in full.
Orders shipping outside the US have duties, taxes and VAT calculated at checkout.
Returns and refunds
Items not marked Final Sale can be returned or exchanged within the window for that order. For fine jewelry, the window depends on the brand. Examples from the table: 14 days for Anabela Chan, Goshwara and Spinelli Kilcollin; 30 days for Armenta, Anzie and Gabriel & Co; 7 days for Elizabeth Moore. A number of brands, such as Moritz Glik and Ruveil, are listed as final sale.
Items must be unused, unworn and undamaged, in original packaging with tags attached. Olivela says it may refuse returns that do not meet this. A $9.95 restocking fee applies per item, but not when you take store credit. Exchanges are free. Refunds go to the original payment method, minus fees, within up to 14 days of processing. Gift card purchases are refunded as store credit.
Conflicts on Olivela's own pages: The banner promises free standard shipping on every order, but the FAQ sets a $100 threshold and a $10 fee below it. One help article says a free prepaid label is provided, while the policy page says not to use a personal label and describes the restocking fee. Return steps also differ: "Exchanges & Returns" in the footer in one article, and "Create return" in order history in another.
What shoppers say
On Trustpilot (read 26 October 2026) Olivela scores 3.5 from 246 reviews: 52% five-star and 37% one-star. Some reviewers praise responsive agents and smooth exchanges. Complaints cover delayed or missing orders, final-sale items that could not be returned, sizing different from the size chart, unanswered emails, and one reviewer who called the site fake. Trustpilot says it does not verify claims in reviews.
BBB lists Olivela Inc. with an F rating (read 26 October 2026). It is not accredited, and BBB cites the business's failure to respond to three complaints out of four filed in three years. BBB shows one customer review that warns of not getting money back for returned items. SmartCustomer has one review, from 2020.
Verdict
Olivela is an operating retailer with detailed help pages, a clear final-sale list and a business record going back to at least 2019. The outside evidence is mixed. Many shoppers are satisfied, but a large minority report problems, and refund and cancellation complaints repeat. The policies contain real traps: brand-specific windows as short as seven days, a restocking fee, and final-sale brands. Buy only if the brand allows returns and the window works for you.
Checklist before you order
- Find the brand's return window in the help page table before you add to cart.
- Check the product page and order confirmation for any Final Sale label.
- Ask support in writing whether a restocking fee or return shipping will apply.
- Confirm the total with shipping at checkout, since the pages disagree on free shipping.
- Check the estimated delivery date and whether the piece is made to order.
- Avoid engraving unless you are sure; it cannot be returned.
- Photograph the piece and keep tags and packaging intact until you decide.
- Pay by credit card so you keep dispute rights.
What we could not confirm
- The general return window for non-jewelry items: the policy points to the "window applicable to your order".
- Whether the restocking fee is deducted from refunds paid to a card in every case, or whether return shipping is free.
- The shipping policy page itself: its help category loaded empty for us, so we used the FAQ articles.
- Any warranty on jewelry.
- The authenticity claim: we could not verify it.
