Quick answer

  • Real business, small review trail: the domain dates from 2017 and a US company is named in the terms, but independent reviews are few.
  • Returns look generous: the main page describes 365 days and free US returns, but one older help page says 30 days.
  • Sizing is relaxed and unisex: the store says to size by weight and hips, and to size up if between sizes.
  • Customer service is the weak spot in the few outside reviews we found.
  • Verdict: a legitimate-looking brand with thin third-party evidence. Order with care and keep records.

Who runs Swoveralls

Swoveralls sells sweatpant-style overalls and related casual clothing, including shorts, tees, hats and kids' items. Its story page says the founder wanted a pair and made them. The mobile messaging terms name David Peyser Sportswear, Inc. as the operator. BBB lists a Swoveralls profile in Bay Shore, New York, but the page did not name the company, so we cannot confirm they are the same entity. The store says most overalls use 95% GOTS-certified organic cotton and 5% spandex; we have not checked certificates.

Sizing and fit

The store describes the fit as relaxed and gender neutral. A product page we read says there is no waistband, so you should size by weight and hips, not waist. If you are between sizes, it recommends sizing up, and it links a two-step size quiz.

Details:

  • Size range: the FAQ says adult XS to 4XL; the product page we read listed S to 4XL options.
  • Corduroy inseams: the corduroy style we read has a different inseam from the standard cut: 28 inches for XXS/XS, 29 inches for S to XL and 30 inches for 2XL to 4XL.
  • Fabric and care: the corduroy product lists 60% cotton, 36% recycled polyester and 4% spandex, so fabric varies by style. The store says items are pre-washed with minimal shrinkage and advises cold washing, low tumble drying and turning them inside out.
  • Size guide: the guide opens as a pop-up or quiz and we could not read its measurement chart. See "What we could not confirm."

Because US returns are free, the main sizing risk is time, not cost. Items must come back unwashed, so do not wash a pair to test the fit.

Shipping and delivery

The store advertises free shipping on orders of $75 or more. Its shipping policy page says free US shipping goes by USPS, and expedited orders by UPS 2-day or next-day air. It also mentions an optional shipping protection add-on that is refundable if a package is lost in transit. We found no stated processing time or standard US delivery estimate.

International orders: a page lists many countries, with rates calculated at checkout. It says orders ship delivered duty paid, so duties and taxes are collected at checkout, with delivery in 8 to 14 business days after fulfillment.

Conflict: an older "Comfy FAQ" page says the store ships only to the US and Canada and does not cover duties and taxes. The newer international page says the opposite on both points. Rely on what checkout shows for your address.

Returns and refunds

The returns page and refund policy describe a 365-day window for most products. US returns are free with a prepaid label. Size and color exchanges are free, with one exchange request per item, per order. Items must be unused, unaltered and unwashed. Sale and mystery items are final sale. International customers pay return shipping, and refunds go out after the warehouse processes the return.

Conflict: the Comfy FAQ page says 30 days and a refund less the cost of shipping. The returns page, refund policy, main FAQ and product pages all say 365 days. The 30-day text looks like an older page, but the store does not say so. If the 30-day version applied to you, the difference would matter, so save a copy of the policy on the day you order.

If you pay by card and the store does not respond, see our guide on refunds and chargebacks.

What shoppers say

  • Trustpilot (read 26 Oct 2026): 3.2 out of 5, based on one review dated 9 January 2026. The reviewer reported no order number, tracking number or reply after an order placed in early December 2025. The profile is unclaimed and Trustpilot notes the company has not invited reviews.
  • PissedConsumer (page updated 22 Oct 2026): 3.5 out of 5 from two reviews. One from 15 October 2025 describes trouble reaching the company to exchange for a larger size and unclear steps. One from 28 March 2024 describes a mix-up that was fixed quickly, with praise for service.
  • BBB (read 26 Oct 2026): A+ rating, no accreditation, one complaint in three years, no customer reviews.
  • SmartCustomer (read 26 Oct 2026): no reviews.

Treat this as customer opinion from tiny samples. A product page claims 4.8 out of 5 from over 95,000 customers; we could not tie that to a review site.

Verdict

Swoveralls looks like an established, genuine brand: nine years of domain history, a named company, written return terms and a long return window. The independent evidence is very thin, and the few reports point to slow or missing replies from customer service. The conflicting help pages are untidy documentation, not proof of a problem. A reasonable approach: order one pair first, save the policy page and order confirmation, and pay by credit card.

Checklist before you order

  1. Read the returns page on the day you order and save a screenshot showing the 365-day wording.
  2. Use the size quiz and your hip and weight measurements, not your waist; size up if between sizes.
  3. Check the style's fabric and inseam on its product page; corduroy differs.
  4. Compare your total with the $75 free-shipping line.
  5. Outside the US, confirm checkout shows duties and your country.
  6. Keep the order confirmation and email hello@swoveralls.com early if anything looks wrong.
  7. Do not wash or alter the item until you decide to keep it.

What we could not confirm

  • The measurement chart in the size guide (it opens as a pop-up/quiz we could not read).
  • A standard US delivery time and order processing time.
  • Which of the two returns versions (30 or 365 days) was written first.
  • Whether the BBB Bay Shore profile belongs to David Peyser Sportswear, Inc.
  • The store's 4.8 out of 5 claim from 95,000+ customers.
  • Reply speed (we sent no messages), warranty or repair terms, and any Reddit discussion.
