This guide is for shoppers considering a modular or sleeper sofa from Belffin who want to know what the store promises and what buyers report. It is not a review of the products. We have not tested any Belffin sofa. We read the store's policy pages and a review site on 26 October 2026. Policies change, so read the current text before you pay.

Quick answer
- Belffin is a real, operating store with written policies. It lists a company name and a US address, an email, a phone number and weekday hours. Its domain was registered in July 2021 (RDAP record, read 26 October 2026).
- Reviews are mostly good but the sample is small. Trustpilot showed 4.0 out of 5 from 136 reviews when we read it. About one in eight was one star.
- Support is the weak spot in the reviews. Reviewers describe hard-to-reach service, slow replies, and missing or damaged pieces.
- Change-of-mind returns are at your cost. The store does not give prepaid labels for them. Sofas are bulky, so check the numbers first.
- Verdict: the evidence supports a genuine seller with clear policies and mixed service experiences. It does not tell us how the sofas hold up, because we have not tested any.

Who runs Belffin
The site footer names Northvale Living Corp at a San Diego, California address. The return page lists a separate warehouse address in Commerce, California. The Our Story page says the name blends the French word for beautiful with the word affinity, and that the brand focuses on modular sofas. It also says it donates sofas to a Habitat for Humanity ReStore. These are the company's own statements and we could not verify them.
Contact details differ between places. The footer shows an 860 phone number. The return page shows a 909 number for the warehouse contact. Trustpilot lists a Hong Kong address, a 1-888 number and a personal-style email, with the profile claimed in March 2024. This does not prove anything is wrong, since a brand can use several entities, but it is worth knowing. Use the email on the policy pages for any written claim, and keep copies.
The terms of service say they are governed by US law, with disputes heard in US courts.
Shipping and delivery
Shipping is free to the 48 contiguous states. For Hawaii, Puerto Rico and Alaska, the shipping page says the customer pays about 110% of the order amount. The store cannot deliver to PO boxes or APO/FPO addresses.
In-stock items usually ship in 1 to 2 business days. Delivery then takes 2 to 5 business days to most US locations, with a state map on the page. The FAQ gives 3 to 5 days. Modular pieces may ship from different warehouses and arrive on different days, so a partial delivery is normal for multi-piece sofas. Carriers named are UPS and FedEx, and the FAQ says you do not have to be home. Packages are usually left at the door.
You get a tracking link by email, and you need your order number, which starts with "OY".
Belffin also offers optional third-party shipping protection from Xcotton, added at checkout for a fee. Its page says it covers lost or damaged parcels. It does not cover manufacturing defects or items missing from the box. Read its terms before you pay for it.
Returns and refunds
You have 30 days after receiving your order to submit a return request. The item must be unused, in the same condition, and in its original packaging. The customer service team must approve the return before you send anything. Returns sent without approval are not accepted.
The store lists these reasons as your cost: you dislike the color or size, it is not as comfortable as expected, the color looks different from the website, or you no longer need it. It says it does not provide prepaid labels for these.
For items that arrive damaged, defective, with missing parts or the wrong item, contact the service email at once with your order number, a short description, and photos or video. If approved, the store gives return instructions and, where applicable, a prepaid label. For approved quality-related returns it covers the actual return shipping, up to the amount you paid for the product. The shipping page says that if a piece is badly damaged on arrival, you can refuse delivery, and that other problems must be reported within 14 days.
Refunds go to your original payment method. Most are processed within 10 business days after approval, and the page says to contact the store if more than 15 business days pass. The cancellation page says you can cancel before shipping.
Warranty: 1 year is included. Paid plans extend to 3 or 5 years, and the page lists wider cover for the paid plans, such as stains and accidental damage. The page says the warranty gives replacement support only, with no refunds, and claims are limited to the modules you bought.
Assembly: the store says it offers no assembly service. It describes the sofas as easy to put together with the manual, and some marketing says no tools are needed. We have not assembled one. Unpack in a place with room to lay out the pieces, and check every module and connector on day one.
What shoppers say
These are customer opinions on Trustpilot. We cannot verify them.
- Trustpilot (read 26 Oct 2026): 4.0 out of 5 from 136 reviews, 56 of them in the last 12 months. About 77% were five-star and 12% one-star. Reviews shown ran from June 2025 to October 2026. Positive reviews mention soft fabric, easy assembly for many buyers, quick shipping and useful features such as storage or pull-out beds. Some praise service that sent replacement parts. Negative reviews mention voicemail and slow email replies, warranty claims or returns that felt hard or costly, missing, damaged or back-ordered pieces, unclear assembly instructions, and sofas that felt too firm or small in the cushions.
- Trustpilot notes: the company replied to about 75% of negative reviews, usually after more than a month, and had not recently invited customers to review, so the ratings may not be representative.
- Other sites: a general search found no BBB profile and no independent tests. We did not find Reddit threads.
Verdict
Belffin appears to be a genuine online sofa seller with clear policies and free shipping on the mainland. It suits buyers who read the return rules, can handle bulky boxes, and accept that changing their mind costs return freight. Be careful if you rely on fast, easy customer service, or if you need to see and sit on a sofa first, since the store says it has no showroom. Order swatches if you are unsure about fabric. We have not tested any product, so this says nothing about comfort or durability.
Checklist before you order
- Measure doorways, hallways and stairs, and the room, against the module sizes.
- Order fabric swatches if the color or texture matters.
- Note that returns for comfort, color or size are at your expense.
- Decide whether the paid warranty or shipping protection is worth it, and read their exclusions.
- Expect modular pieces to arrive in more than one delivery.
- Open and check every box soon after delivery, with photos or video.
- Report damage or missing parts by email within the stated windows, and keep copies.
- Pay by credit card, keep the order number, and save the policy pages as they read when you buy.
What we could not confirm
- Who actually owns and operates the business. Names and addresses differ between the site and Trustpilot.
- Which delivery estimate is right (2-5 days or 3-5 days).
- Whether installment payments run through Afterpay (FAQ) or Klarna (financing page). The two pages disagree.
- The terms of the paid warranty and shipping protection beyond the summaries on their pages.
- Ratings on other review sites, a BBB profile, or independent product tests.
- Any date for the last policy update. The pages show none.
