This guide is for US shoppers who found AlivingHome (alivinghome.com) and want to know how the store handles shipping, returns, damage and support before paying. It is not a review of the products. We have not tested any of them. We read the store's own policy pages and one public review site, and we report what they say. Policies change, so check the current text at checkout.

Quick answer
- The store looks real and reachable. Its policies list a Sacramento, California address, a support email and phone numbers. A real address and a clear policy set are good signs, but they do not prove how the store behaves when something goes wrong.
- Shipping is free in the lower 48 and slow to start. The policy says orders usually ship within 24 hours and arrive in 2 to 4 business days after that. Alaska, Hawaii and US territories are excluded.
- Returns are possible but not free for every reason. You have 30 days to contact the store. You pay return shipping if you simply change your mind. The store pays if the item is defective or the error was its own.
- Assembled or opened items are a trap. The return policy says items that are assembled, disassembled or missing original packaging cannot be returned. Check this before you unbox a large piece.
- Verdict: The evidence supports "a functioning US online furniture store with written policies and mostly positive public ratings." It does not prove that returns and refunds always go smoothly. Some reviewers describe hard returns and slow support.

Who runs AlivingHome
The terms page says the site is operated by "Aliving Home." No company form such as LLC or Inc. appears on that page. The U.S. address is 2108 N Street, Suite N, Sacramento, California 95816. The terms also list a branch address in the Daxing District of Beijing.
Phone details are inconsistent. The returns page lists +1 657-242-1160 with Pacific-time hours. The privacy policy lists +1 (865) 344-5866 with Eastern-time hours. Email is the same on both pages. We could not find a business registry record or domain-age data, so we cannot say how long the company has existed.
Shipping and delivery
From the shipping policy, read 26 October 2026:
- Shipping is free on US orders.
- Orders usually ship within 24 hours of payment or confirmation. The warehouse works Monday to Friday, so weekend orders can wait.
- Transit takes 2 to 4 business days after processing.
- UPS and FedEx deliver. A tracking number is emailed when the order ships. It can take 48 to 72 hours to start updating.
- Delivery is limited to the US. It excludes Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam, the US Virgin Islands, American Samoa, the Northern Mariana Islands, Micronesia, the Marshall Islands, Palau and military addresses. P.O. boxes are not served.
- You can cancel for a full refund only if the order has not shipped.
Returns and refunds
From the return and refund policy, read 26 October 2026:
- Window: Email the store within 30 days of receiving the item. Later requests are not honored.
- Authorization: Returns must be approved first. Unauthorized returns are rejected.
- Condition: Items must be unused and in original condition, with tags, original packaging and proof of purchase. Keep the packaging and send photos of the product, the outer box and the inner packing.
- Not returnable: Clearance items, customized items, items marked non-returnable, and items that are assembled, disassembled or missing original packaging.
- Return shipping: You pay if you changed your mind or ordered the wrong size. The store pays, including return freight, if the item is defective or the store made the error. Prepaid labels exist only in some regions.
- Fees: No restocking fee. Original shipping charges are not refunded.
- Refund speed: To the original payment method within 48 hours of approval. If it does not show, check with your bank first.
Damage and defects. Report a damaged or missing item within 48 hours and keep the item and box. Remedies named are a refund, a replacement or a repair. That is a short window for a large box, so open and inspect it the day it arrives and take photos.
Assembly. The terms say nothing about assembly. The return rule against assembled items is the main point. If you suspect a defect, report it before building, where you can. We could not read the store's returns-and-warranties page, so we cannot say more about assembly help.
Warranty. The return page describes a one-year warranty on defects in materials and workmanship from delivery. Misuse, accidents, pets, commercial use, changes and wrong cleaning are excluded. The terms page separately advertises a 30-day guarantee on quality problems or later price drops, but it also disclaims warranties and says quality may not meet expectations. Read both before relying on either.
What shoppers say
On Trustpilot, AlivingHome showed 4.0 out of 5 from 140 reviews when we read it on 26 October 2026. The split was 65% five-star, 9% four-star, 10% three-star, 4% two-star and 12% one-star. The newest review shown was dated 18 October 2026.
Themes reviewers raise, as customer opinion:
- Praise: quick delivery, easy assembly, modern looks and comfortable seating.
- Complaints: footrests too short for some people, heavy boxes left outside or dropped, colors that differ from photos, a motor that failed within a week for one reviewer, and difficulty with cancellations, returns and refunds. Some say support did not reply.
A search also found a Loox review page for the store, with mostly positive comments about assembly and delivery help. One reviewer there said they could not reach customer service. We found no Reddit or BBB pages for the store.
Verdict
AlivingHome looks like a working US online furniture seller with clear written policies, free shipping and several common payment methods, including card and PayPal. Public ratings are mostly good. The 30-day return window is normal. The weak spots are the 48-hour damage deadline, the ban on returning assembled items, the buyer-paid return freight on change-of-mind returns, and a minority of reviews describing refund trouble.
It suits shoppers who measure carefully, can inspect a delivery the same day, and are confident in the choice. Be careful if you are buying a recliner or sectional you have not sat in, if you need quick help by phone, or if you cannot move a heavy box back into its packaging.
Checklist before you order
- Measure the room, doorways and stairs, then compare with the listed box and product sizes.
- Check that your address is in the lower 48 and not a P.O. box or military address.
- Screenshot the product page, price and return policy on the day you buy.
- Pay by card or PayPal so you can dispute a non-delivery or wrong item.
- Open and photograph the box the day it arrives. The damage deadline is 48 hours.
- Check for defects before assembling. Assembled items are listed as non-returnable.
- Email support first and keep the thread, since returns need written approval. Try both phone numbers if you must call.
What we could not confirm
- The store's home page, About page and the separate returns-and-warranties page returned errors when we tried to read them.
- Who legally owns the business, its registration, and how long the domain has existed.
- Which phone number is current.
- BBB and Reddit feedback: we found none.
