This guide is for US shoppers considering denim from AG Jeans (agjeans.com) who want to understand shipping, sizing and returns before paying. It is not a review of the products. We have not tested any product. Policies change, so read the current terms at checkout.

Quick answer
- Real company: The terms name AG Adriano Goldschmied, Inc. of South Gate, California. The site gives a phone number and a mailing address.
- Shipping: Free 2-day FedEx shipping on US orders, counted after the order is processed.
- Returns: A 30-day window, but a $12 fee applies unless you bought a $7 add-on at checkout or use your own label.
- Watch out for: Final-sale items (discounted 40% or more) and fine print that differs between pages.
- Verdict: A real, long-running denim brand with clear policies. Customer reviews are split, and returns are the most common complaint.

Who runs AG Jeans
The terms of use say the site is run by AG Adriano Goldschmied, Inc. and its affiliates, with a South Gate, California address for legal notices. The store's story page says AG was founded in Los Angeles in 2000. That is the company's own description, which we have not checked elsewhere.
The terms include a dispute section that sends claims to arbitration through JAMS and waives jury trials and class actions. This is common, but it limits your options if you have a dispute. Your card issuer's dispute process is separate; see our refunds guide.
Sizing and fit
AG publishes a women's fit guide and a men's fit guide. They group styles by leg shape (skinny, straight, bootcut, wide, barrel, boyfriend) and by rise (low, mid, high). The women's page notes that since Fall 2024, all Farrah, Mari and Saige styles are classed as mid-rise, with measurements unchanged. Check the style name and rise on the product page, not only the category.
Product pages carry a size guide. On the men's jean we read, it gave waist, hip and chest in inches and centimeters, and separate inseam options (30, 32 and 34), so you must pick both waist and inseam. We did not read a women's size chart.
Some Trustpilot reviewers say items did not match the listed size or inseam, and others say jeans stretched out. Those are customer opinions. Measure a pair you already like and compare the numbers.
Shipping and delivery
US orders get free FedEx Express 2nd Day. The clock starts after the order is processed and handed to FedEx, not when you order. Orders before 2:30 pm PST on weekdays are generally processed the same day, but that is not guaranteed, and sale periods can add up to 3 business days. No Saturday, Sunday or holiday processing. Overnight shipping costs $14.95 to $34.95, depending on order value. Free and expedited shipping applies to the lower 48 states and DC only. The store does not ship to P.O. boxes, APO/FPO addresses or US territories.
The shipping page also says all orders are subject to review, which can occasionally delay processing.
Returns and refunds
From the return policy page, read 26 October 2026:
- Window: unworn, unwashed, unused items with original tags, within 30 days, for a refund to the original payment or an exchange.
- Fee: $12 return shipping fee on all returns and exchanges, unless Free Returns + In Transit Package Protection was bought with the order. It is waived if you take a gift card or ship with your own carrier label.
- Add-on: the Free Returns service costs a flat $7, is non-refundable, and must be added at checkout. It is not available for Final Sale items.
- Final sale: items discounted 40% or more are not returnable, exchangeable or eligible for price adjustment. Items bought at 25% off can be returned.
- Processing: 7 to 10 business days after delivery to AG's facility.
- Exchanges: another size, or a different color with any price gap paid first. Instant exchanges hold your card for up to 14 days.
- International: 30 days from receipt, fees vary, and exchanges are not offered.
Keep proof of postage. The page says AG is not responsible for returns lost in transit if the process was not followed.
What shoppers say
Trustpilot (read 26 October 2026) showed 3.6 out of 5 from 114 reviews, with 40 in the last 12 months and the newest on 15 October 2026. About 49% were five-star and about 46% one-star, so opinions are polarized. Reviewers praise fabric, fit and fast shipping. Common complaints are final-sale limits, return labels, delayed return processing and jeans wearing out. Customer service is praised by some and criticized by others.
We found no BBB listing in search results.
Verdict
AG Jeans looks legitimate and established, with a named US company, phone support and detailed policies. We saw no sign of a fake store. The risk is in the details. Returns cost $12 unless you buy the add-on or use your own label, final-sale rules are strict, and pages disagree on the start date of the 30-day window. For a first order, confirm sizing and inseam, avoid heavily discounted items unless you are sure, and return early.
Checklist before you order
- Compare the product's waist, rise and inseam with a pair you own.
- Check for Final Sale before buying a discounted item.
- Decide whether the $7 Free Returns add-on is worth it. You cannot add it later.
- Treat the 30 days as running from the purchase date.
- Keep tags on and try the item on indoors.
- Plan to use your own carrier label if you want the $12 fee waived, and keep proof of postage.
- Pay by card, which keeps dispute options open.
- Save order emails and tracking numbers.
What we could not confirm
- A warranty or repair policy. The help page loaded empty and no warranty page was found.
- The women's size chart and the full list of payment methods.
- International shipping details.
- Reddit, BBB, or other independent ratings.
- Conflicts between the store's own pages: the return policy counts 30 days from purchase, while a product page says 30 days from receipt. The same policy describes the $12 charge both as a return shipping fee and as a restocking fee deducted from your refund.
