This guide is for shoppers in the United States who are thinking about buying premium women's clothing from L'AGENCE (lagence.com) and want to understand the return rules before paying. It is not a review of the products. We have not tested any product. Policies change, so read the current terms at checkout.

Quick answer

  • Real company: The terms name Los Angeles Collective, LLC. The site lists a phone line, email and warehouse address.
  • Returns window: Up to 21 days from delivery, but only the first 14 days can get money back to your card. Days 15 to 21 are store credit or exchange.
  • Fees: An $8 restocking fee is deducted on returns. Exchanges are described as free.
  • Watch out for: Items marked Final Sale, Store Credit Only or Exchange Only, and candles, which are always final sale.
  • Verdict: Looks like a legitimate, established fashion label with clear written policies. The return terms are tighter than many shoppers expect, and we found very little independent review data.

Who runs L'AGENCE

The terms of use are issued by Los Angeles Collective, LLC, and the privacy policy gives a Los Angeles street address for privacy requests. The contact page lists a customer care line and showrooms in Paris and Seoul. The domain was registered in 1999, which tells you the domain is old, not how long this owner has traded.

The website only accepts returns for items bought on lagence.com. Boutique or retail-partner purchases go back to where you bought them.

Sizing and fit

The international page says sizes on the site are US sizes and that a Size Chart tab appears on every product page. On the product page we read, the details tab listed model measurements, rise, inseam and leg opening, a stretch scale, and a "runs short to runs long" length scale.

We could not read the size chart itself, because it loads inside the page after you open it. Check it on the exact item and compare it with a garment you own. Because only the first 14 days give a card refund, order a likely size and try it on right away.

Shipping and delivery

For US orders, the shipping policy lists three methods: FedEx Ground (free, 5 to 7 business days), FedEx 2-Day ($20) and FedEx Overnight ($35). Alaska and Hawaii get free standard ground shipping with the same 5 to 7 day estimate. Orders of $1,200 or more need a signature. The store does not ship to P.O. boxes or APO/FPO addresses.

Processing is separate from transit. Orders placed before 1:00 pm PST generally ship within 2 to 4 business days. During holidays the page expects an extra 2 to 5 business days of delay.

International orders use a Global-e checkout and DHL Express, with a separate page of transit times and duty rules. Sale items are not available internationally.

Returns and refunds

The rules, from the returns page on 26 October 2026:

  • Days 1 to 14 after delivery: exchange or refund to the original payment method, minus an $8 restocking fee.
  • Days 15 to 21: exchange or store credit, minus an $8 restocking fee.
  • Condition: unworn and unwashed, no visible wear, with original tags and packaging such as hangers, shoe boxes and dust bags. No perfume, hair, rips or tears.
  • Swimwear: must have the hygienic liner in place and be unused.
  • Candles: final sale.
  • Final Sale, Store Credit Only and Exchange Only items: marked on the product. Final Sale items cannot be refunded, credited or exchanged.
  • Process: start at the returns portal, print a FedEx label and packing slip, and drop the parcel at FedEx. Ask for a drop-off receipt.

International returns are different. The refund window is 14 days, a prepaid express return fee is deducted (the table lists amounts by country), and exchanges are not offered. Duties and taxes paid separately are not refunded.

The store says it may restrict or refuse future returns, so keep photos and the FedEx receipt.

What shoppers say

We found little independent data. We could not read a Trustpilot profile that clearly belongs to lagence.com: the page we reached for that domain showed a different company name and no reviews. A Trustpilot page for lagencefashion.com, a different domain, showed three reviews and a 3.3 score (read 26 October 2026, newest review 20 February 2026). We cannot confirm it is the same business, so we do not rely on it.

SmartCustomer shows one review of lagence.com, rated 2.0, dated 13 May 2024, complaining about customer service. One review is not a pattern. A BBB search for L'AGENCE in Los Angeles returned no listing. We found no Reddit threads.

Verdict

L'AGENCE appears to be a real, established brand with detailed written policies, a US phone line and a stated company name. We saw no sign of a fake store. The main risk is not scam behavior. It is fine print: an $8 fee even on card refunds, store credit after day 14, and no stated cost for the domestic return label. If you are unsure about fit, order carefully and return early.

Checklist before you order

  1. Open the Size Chart tab on the exact item and compare with a garment you own.
  2. Check the product page for Final Sale, Store Credit Only or Exchange Only.
  3. Note the delivery date and set a reminder for day 14. Card refunds end there.
  4. Plan for the $8 restocking fee on returns.
  5. Keep tags, hangers, boxes and dust bags.
  6. Ask customer care what the domestic return label costs before you ship anything back.
  7. Pay by card or PayPal and keep the FedEx drop-off receipt.
  8. If you live outside the US, read the international page first.

What we could not confirm

  • The cost of the domestic return label (not stated on the pages we read).
  • The size chart contents and whether items run true to size.
  • A usable Trustpilot or BBB rating for lagence.com.
  • Any warranty or repair service.
  • Conflicts between the store's own pages: the site banner says free worldwide shipping, while the international page says orders under $550 may carry an extra shipping fee. The terms page also says the site delivers only to the United States and does not accept billing addresses outside the US, while the international page describes shipping to over 50 countries. The returns page says a refund in days 1 to 14 goes to the original payment; the product page says a refund or store credit.
