This guide is for anyone thinking about ordering UTV, side-by-side, motorcycle, golf cart or similar gear from Kemimoto and wondering how shipping, returns and warranty claims work. It is not a review of the products. We have not tested any product. Policies change, so read the current pages before you pay.

Quick answer

  • Real, long-running business: The domain was registered in November 2015 (RDAP, read 26 October 2026). The store lists a phone number, email addresses and a Houston, Texas office address.
  • Returns are fairly generous on paper: The store says you can return unused items within 45 days of delivery for a full refund, but you pay return shipping unless the item is wrong or faulty.
  • Shipping is free to the lower 48 states: The store gives an estimate of 5 to 8 days. Alaska, Hawaii and U.S. territories need a quote by email or phone.
  • Fitment is the main risk: Many Trustpilot complaints are about parts that did not fit or hardware that was missing. Check fitment yourself before ordering.
  • Verdict: Looks like a legitimate store with mostly positive reviews and a clear return policy. Treat it as a careful-buyer purchase: confirm fitment, keep photos, and know that the BBB listing we saw is rated F.

Who runs Kemimoto

The terms of service say the site is operated by ISSYZONE TECH CO., LIMITED in Kowloon, Hong Kong, and that "we" covers Kemimoto and other brands in the ISSYZONE Group, including BougeRV, Munbyn and Joytutus. The terms follow Hong Kong law. The contact page lists a Houston, Texas office, marked as not for returns or exchanges. The warranty policy follows Texas law. The domain was registered on 24 November 2015 (RDAP).

Warranty and support

The warranty page says each new product is free from defects in material and workmanship for the original purchaser, for 3 months to 1 year from purchase. The table lists mirrors at 90 days, whip lights and covers at 180 days, and light bars, headlights, doors, windshields and speakers at 1 year. An electric golf caddy is listed at 2 years, longer than the "up to 1 year" in the text above the table. We could not tell which applies.

  • Only the original buyer is covered, with proof of purchase, and only for kemimoto.com orders.
  • The remedy is a replacement. The store covers parts, not labor for removal or installation.
  • You prepay shipping to send the item back and carry the risk of loss in transit.

Claims start with an online form.

Shipping and delivery

Shipping is free in the U.S. except Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, Guam and the Marshall Islands. The store lists warehouses in San Francisco, New Jersey and Ontario (U.S.) and Ontario (Canada), and estimates 5 to 8 days for free-shipping states.

You can change the address within 24 hours; after that the store says changes are not possible unless you cover shipping. It does not ship to PO boxes, and items in one order may arrive separately. You can cancel before shipping for a full refund. For other regions, email or call for a quote; the store says international delivery takes 10 to 25 business days, and the recipient pays customs charges.

Returns and refunds

You may return an unused product within 45 days of delivery for a full refund. The packaging rules are strict:

  • Original packaging with all boxes, tags, booklets and stickers. Damaged packaging is treated as no longer new.
  • Do not ship in the product's own box; use a larger outer box.
  • Send photos or videos to customer service for approval first, then ship with tracking and the order number.

The store says it refunds within three working days after receiving the items. For no-fault returns and exchanges you pay return shipping. For a wrong item or a quality issue, the store says it will bear the cost if the item is in new, resalable condition. Membership gift cards are non-refundable, and a free gift must be returned with the order or its value is deducted. Ask who pays before ordering a bulky part.

What shoppers say

Trustpilot shows 4.2 out of 5 from 3,825 reviews (read 26 October 2026): 70 percent five-star, 13 percent one-star. Happy reviewers mention quality, quick delivery, easy installs and helpful support. Unhappy ones mention shipping delays, missing hardware, parts that did not fit, wrong models sent and early failures. One said a representative did not know the catalog; another said they were offered a return or a small partial refund for an incompatible bracket. The company replies to most negative reviews, and one reply says its fitment system is still being improved. These are customer opinions.

The BBB search listing we saw shows an online retailer at the Houston address, rated F and not accredited. We did not read the full profile.

Verdict

Kemimoto looks like an established parts seller: a decade-old domain, a named operator, working contacts and a clear 45-day return policy. Reviews are mostly positive. The weak spots are fitment mistakes, return shipping on no-fault returns, strict packaging rules, a warranty that needs prepaid shipping and your own labor, and the poor BBB rating in the listing we saw. If you confirm fitment first, the risk is reasonable.

Checklist before you order

  1. Confirm the part fits your exact make, model and year; ask support by email and keep the reply.
  2. Check what is included, such as mounting hardware.
  3. Use a street address, not a PO box; Alaska, Hawaii and territories are quoted separately.
  4. Photograph the package and part on arrival, before installing.
  5. Keep every box, tag and booklet until you are sure it fits.
  6. Ask about return shipping cost for large items before buying.
  7. Pay with a method that has dispute rights and save your emails.
  8. Check the warranty length for your product in the table.

What we could not confirm

  • Payment methods at checkout (page code mentions PayPal, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Klarna; we did not go through checkout).
  • The full BBB profile and complaint counts.
  • Reddit discussion (a search found none), and PissedConsumer or Loox content.
  • Which warranty length applies to the electric golf caddy.
  • How long refunds take in practice, and product durability. We have not tested any product.
