Quick answer

  • Returns are short and not free. For US orders the store says 14 days from the delivery date, and it deducts a $7.95 restocking fee from the refund.
  • Final sale is common. Items marked "Final Sale" cannot be returned or exchanged, and "Exchange Only" items get store credit, not a refund.
  • International orders are different. The store's pages disagree on whether international buyers can get refunds at all (see below).
  • No independent reviews to lean on. Trustpilot and SmartCustomer both show zero reviews for this domain.
  • Verdict: Simon Miller looks like an established fashion label with a long-registered domain and clear written policies. The risk is not a fake store; it is a strict return policy. Buy only if you are happy to keep the item or accept a fee.

Who runs Simon Miller

The store's about page describes a lifestyle brand covering ready-to-wear, footwear, bags and jewelry, designed in Los Angeles and led by its CEO and creative director, Chelsea Hansford. We did not find a registered company name or street address on the pages we read. The domain simonmillerusa.com was registered on 2 September 2011 according to the public RDAP record (read 26 October 2026), which is a long history for a retail site.

Sizing and fit

The size and fit page gives a general guide with US, EU, UK, IT and AU columns for clothing (XS is US 0-2, S is 2-4, M is 6-8, L is 8-10, XL is 10-12). Denim is listed in waist sizes 24 to 31. Footwear is in EU/IT sizing; the FAQ confirms this, and the guide pairs EU 36 with US 6 and EU 40 with US 10.

Because returns cost money, sizing matters more here than at stores with free returns. If you are between sizes, read the product notes and consider emailing customer service before ordering. Swimwear has an extra rule: it must come back with tags attached and the hygienic liner intact, or it is refused.

Shipping and delivery

For US orders the store lists UPS Ground at $9.95, free from $150, plus faster paid options. It says it does not ship on weekends or holidays, and the cut-off for upgraded shipping is 10 AM Pacific. It does not ship to P.O. boxes, per the FAQ.

Orders to Hawaii, Alaska, Guam and Puerto Rico carry a $30 flat rate, and the store says returns and exchanges cannot be processed for orders delivered to those places. If you live there, treat every purchase as final.

International shipping is offered worldwide. Rates are calculated at checkout. We found no promised delivery times on any page we read.

Returns and refunds

For US orders the shipping and returns page says items must be unworn, undamaged and in original condition, returned within 14 days of delivery. You start the return through the store's returns portal. All returns must be listed on the packing slip, and unauthorized returns can be refused.

Refunds go to the original payment method, less the $7.95 restocking fee, and the store says to allow up to 14 business days after it receives the parcel. Store credit is available as an alternative and the fee is waived. The FAQ says a store-credit gift card is emailed once the return is in transit.

Other rules to note: sample-sale purchases are final and sold as is; in-store purchases are final with exchange or credit only; and the store does not take returns of items bought from other retailers. If you receive a damaged or wrong item, contact the store immediately, because a return made without contacting it first may be refused. The store also says it does not replace or refund worn or used items.

For a dispute that the store will not resolve, see our guide on refunds and chargebacks.

What shoppers say

We found no customer reviews to summarize, so you have no outside record of how returns and refunds are handled. Trustpilot shows no reviews and an unclaimed profile (read 26 October 2026), and SmartCustomer shows none either. Read our guide on spotting fake reviews if you find testimonials elsewhere.

Verdict

Simon Miller appears to be a real, long-running label with a working store and detailed policies. We found no scam signs. What it lacks is a forgiving return policy: a short window, a fee, buyer-paid shipping and many final-sale items. Where its own pages disagree, the shipping and returns page is more detailed, but you should email the store before buying if the point matters to you.

Checklist before you order

  1. Check whether the item is marked Final Sale or Exchange Only before adding it to your cart.
  2. Work out what a return would cost: return shipping plus the $7.95 fee.
  3. Check the size chart and the product notes; shoe sizes are EU/IT.
  4. Diary the 14-day deadline from the delivery date, not the order date.
  5. If you are outside the lower 48 US states, assume you cannot return.
  6. Outside the US, ask support in writing whether refunds are possible and who pays duties.
  7. Pay by a method with buyer protection and keep order emails and photos of any damage.

What we could not confirm

  • Delivery times for US or international orders.
  • The legal company name, street address and phone number.
  • Payment methods actually accepted at checkout.
  • Whether prepaid return labels are ever provided; one line mentions them for exchanges only.
  • Independent customer reviews on any site we could read.

Where the store's pages disagree. The FAQ says international orders can only be exchanged, while the shipping and returns page offers an international return portal with a $20 restocking fee and non-refundable return shipping, duties and taxes. The FAQ does not mention the $7.95 US restocking fee that the shipping and returns page states. On duties, the FAQ says prices include taxes and duties in most countries, while the shipping page says the checkout total includes all customs and taxes with no extra charges on delivery.
