This guide is for US shoppers who want to know how Nood handles warranty, returns, shipping and support before buying a hair-removal device. It is not a review of the products. We have not tested any product and make no claims about how a device works. Policies change, so read the current pages at checkout.

Quick answer
- Real, established store: The site is run by Nood Ventures LLC with an Austin, Texas address, and the domain trynood.com has existed since November 2020.
- Return window is device-only: The store's refund page gives a 90-day return window for its Flasher devices. Body care and other tools are final sale unless damaged or defective.
- Restocking fee: A device refund is reduced by $29.95, per the store's refund page.
- Warranty is narrow: The warranty page we read covers one model, the Flasher 2.0, for one year, for the original US buyer who bought direct.
- Verdict: Nood looks like a genuine business with written policies, but reviews we found show a split: many happy buyers and a visible group reporting slow delivery or slow refunds. Read the return rules closely and pay by card so you keep dispute rights.

Who runs Nood
The terms of service name Nood Ventures LLC as the seller and say Texas law governs. The warranty page gives an Austin, Texas address. Registry data shows trynood.com was registered on 1 November 2020, and the Trustpilot profile has been claimed since March 2021.
The terms also contain an arbitration clause: disputes go to individual arbitration unless you opt out. Read it if you may want to take a dispute further.
Warranty and support
The warranty page we read covers only the Flasher 2.0. It promises the device will be free of defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for one year from purchase. Key limits from that page:
- It covers only the original US buyer who bought direct, not a later owner.
- Remedies are repair, exchange (new or refurbished), or at the store's choice a refund of the purchase price.
- To claim, email photos, a description and proof of purchase, then return the device in its package.
- Misuse, accidents, unauthorized repair and cosmetic damage are excluded.
We found no warranty page for other models such as the Flasher Pro. The front page mentions a "Lifetime Flash Guarantee" with it, but we could not find its terms. Ask support in writing what is covered.
The FAQ says a defective handset gets a full replacement, while the warranty page lists repair, exchange or refund at the store's option. The two differ, so ask support which applies.
Shipping and delivery
The shipping policy page at trynood.com/policies/shipping-policy opened for us but showed no policy text, only the site header and footer. So we could not confirm processing times, carriers, or international rules from that page.
What we did read:
- A banner says free shipping on orders of $100 or more. The cart drawer says how far you are from that threshold.
- The FAQ says you get an email with a tracking number once the order is fulfilled, and it points to the Route app for tracking.
- The FAQ describes claims for lost, stolen or damaged parcels through Route or an add-on called Extend. Lost-parcel claims have a 60-day maximum filing time from the order date, and damage claims need photos within 15 days of delivery.
- The terms say Nood accepts an order only once it ships, and it can refuse orders.
Returns and refunds
From the refund page (dated 24 January 2025, read 26 October 2026):
- Eligible items: Only the Flasher line of devices, when bought directly from Nood, carry the 90-day guarantee. Body care and other tools are final sale unless damaged or defective. It says the policy applies to subscriptions too.
- Cost: You can take an equal-value exchange or a refund minus a $29.95 restocking fee.
- How to start: Email support@nood.com within 90 days from the address used to order, with your name, order ID and the reason. Do not ship anything back first: the page says items sent without a request may not be accepted.
- Deadline after approval: Drop off or post the item within 10 days of the store's confirmation email. A Happy Returns drop-off option is offered.
- Refund timing: 3-5 business days after the store receives the item, to the original payment method.
- Cancellations: Email within 12 hours of ordering.
- Damage or wrong item: Contact the store right away after delivery.
What shoppers say
Trustpilot (read 26 October 2026, via a regional page of the same profile): 4.0 out of 5 from 39 reviews, 27 of them in the last 12 months. The split is stark: 56% five-star and 44% one-star, with nothing in between. The newest review was dated 22 October 2026.
Positive themes, as customer opinions: ease of use, design, and some praise for support. One September 2026 reviewer said support replaced a device that stopped working just after the warranty period.
Themes in negative reviews: delivery delays and slow replacements. One September 2026 reviewer said a $279 order took over a month. A July 2026 reviewer said a delivery partner appeared to have gone out of business and replacements went to the wrong address. Search snippets of older Trustpilot reviews, which we could not open in full, mention slow refunds, hard-to-reach support and a Better Business Bureau complaint. We found no BBB profile for the company, so those BBB claims are unverified. We found no Reddit threads.
These are self-selected reviews from a small sample.
Verdict
Nood is a real, longstanding direct-to-consumer brand with written policies. The main risks we can see from the documents are the $29.95 restocking fee on a device return, return and warranty rules that differ by product, a shipping page that gave no readable text, and a review pattern that includes delays and refund complaints. If you buy, pay by credit card, keep every email, and photograph the packaging on arrival.
Checklist before you order
- Decide which model you want and read the return rule for that model. Only the Flasher line has the 90-day window.
- Add the $29.95 restocking fee to the price when you compare it with other stores.
- Ask support by email what the warranty covers for your exact model, and keep the answer.
- Ask for the delivery estimate in writing, since the shipping page showed no text.
- Note the order date: cancellation closes after 12 hours, returns after 90 days.
- Pay by credit card so you can dispute a charge if a refund does not arrive.
- Photograph the box on arrival and save your tracking emails.
What we could not confirm
- Shipping times, carriers, processing time and international rules (the policy page showed no readable text).
- Who pays return postage.
- Warranty terms for models other than the Flasher 2.0, and the terms of the "Lifetime Flash Guarantee".
- Accepted payment methods beyond Affirm.
- The full Trustpilot review list, which blocked direct access, and any BBB profile (we found none).
- Anything about how well a product works or is safe. We make no claims about this and have not tested any product.
