Who runs Aquatalia
The About page says the brand was established in 1994 and makes Italian-designed footwear and accessories for women and men, crafted in Italy. We did not find the name of the company that operates the site, or a street address, in the pages we could read. The terms of service page failed to load for us. The domain dates from 1998 and the customer service line and email are listed on the contact page.
Sizing and fit
The size guide lists US, Euro and UK sizes with foot length in inches and centimeters for women's and men's shoes, plus coat and glove sizes. The store's FAQ says most styles run true to size and suggests going up half a size if you are between sizes or wear thick socks. It also says some styles have more toe room or flexible materials for wider feet, and tells you to check each product's fit notes. Trustpilot reviewers disagree: some say boots ran a half size or two sizes small and some said slip-ons ran large. A Zappos buyer said boots were slightly narrow, while another said all their pairs fit at one size. Measure your foot with the chart before ordering.
Weather claims (as the store states them)
The store says many of its boots are treated to resist water, salt and stains, and calls them weatherproof. These are the store's statements. We have not tested any product, and the claim applies to "many" styles, so check the description of the exact pair. No Trustpilot review we read mentioned water resistance.
Shipping and delivery
The shipping page says all orders need 1-3 business days processing, and checkout delivery estimates do not include that time. UPS delivers standard in 3-9 business days. Orders of $500 or more may need a signature. Delivery problems such as non-delivery or damage must be reported within 14 days of the ship date, or the store says it cannot help with a replacement or refund. That is a short window if a parcel arrives late. The store does not ship to Alaska, Hawaii or US territories.
Returns and refunds
You start in the return portal, print a label, repack the shoes in original packaging with tags and arrange UPS pickup or drop-off. Items must be in original condition. The store is not responsible for returns lost in transit, so keep your tracking number. Shipping fees are not refunded, gift cards cannot be returned, and sale prices do not apply to past purchases. The refund goes to the original payment method. The returns page and the refund policy page agree on 35 days, but the returns page counts it from "the day your order ships" and the refund page from "the shipment date", which are the same.
