This guide is for golfers, baseball players and coaches who are thinking about buying a launch monitor from rapsodo.com and want to know what the store's own pages say about returns, warranty and paid app features. It is not a review of the products; we have not tested any product. Policies change, so read the current pages before you pay.

Quick answer
- Real company, long-lived domain: rapsodo.com was registered in April 2006 (RDAP record, read 26 October 2026), and the store lists a US postal address and a support email.
- Returns: the store describes a 30-day money-back window on hardware bought from its web store, counted from the date you receive it. Baseball and softball products carry a $300 restocking fee.
- Paid app features: the store says a membership is needed for features such as third-party simulator connections, Bag Mapping and Wedge Matrix. Membership payments are not refundable.
- Warranty conflict: two of the store's own pages give different start dates for the one-year warranty (registration versus purchase).
- Verdict: the store looks like a genuine manufacturer shop, but its Trustpilot profile is small and negative, and the membership and warranty wording needs a careful read before you buy.

Who runs Rapsodo
The store's warranty page names Rapsodo, Inc. with a Chesterfield, Missouri address. The website footer says "Rapsodo LLC", the product terms of use name Rapsodo, Inc., a Delaware corporation, and the web store's terms of service say the site is operated by Rapsodo Pte Ltd. These are different entity names across the store's own pages; we did not research how they relate. The domain was registered on 18 April 2006 (RDAP, read 26 October 2026).
Warranty and support
The store's return-policy page describes a one-year limited warranty for baseball and softball hardware and for mobile launch monitors. Remedies are repair, replacement or refund of the purchase price, at the company's choice. A replacement may be new or remanufactured.
Conflict between the store's pages. The return-policy page under /pages says the warranty period starts on the device registration date, not the purchase date. The policy page under /policies says it starts on the date of the original purchase. If you buy, register the device promptly and keep your receipt.
You need proof of purchase and a return authorization (RMA) first. You pay to ship the product to the company; it pays to send it back. The warranty covers the original buyer only. Listed misuse includes damage from a ball or bat hit, a fall, or use in rain or water, and the page says the monitors are not water-resistant.
Subscriptions and paid app features
According to the store's FAQ and product pages:
- The MLM2PRO page says a 21-day trial of a Core membership comes with purchase.
- The FAQ says a Core membership is required for third-party simulator connections (such as GSPro) and for the PC app.
- Bag Mapping and Wedge Matrix need a membership, per the FAQ.
- A Rapsodo blog post dated 19 November 2024 listed an MLM2PRO annual membership at $199 and a lifetime option at $599 as a limited-time offer. That post is almost two years old, and a search summary showed a different lifetime figure on another Rapsodo page, so check current pricing in the store.
- The same post says a trial needs a card on file and is charged after the trial ends.
- The post says without paid membership you keep 11 basic metrics but lose golf simulation and measured spin.
- The return policy says membership subscriptions are not refundable and are outside the 30-day window.
Shipping and delivery
We could not find a dedicated shipping page; /policies/shipping-policy and /pages/shipping both returned "not found" on 26 October 2026. The MLM2PRO product page says free shipping to the contiguous 48 United States. We found no stated delivery times, no Alaska, Hawaii or international policy, and no mention of customs fees. The site links regional stores for Canada, the UK, Europe, Japan, Singapore and Australia. The warranty page says the warranty is valid in the country of purchase, so buy from your own region's store.
Returns and refunds
- Window: 30 calendar days from the date of receipt, for hardware ordered on the web store and bought for private use.
- Memberships: not eligible for refunds.
- Restocking fee: $300 on returned baseball and softball products.
- Not found: who pays return shipping on a normal return, and refund timing.
Test everything inside that window, including the membership features you plan to rely on, and keep the packaging.
What shoppers say
- Trustpilot, rapsodo.com: 2.1 out of 5 from 9 reviews, 89 percent one-star, newest 19 September 2026 (read 26 Oct 2026). The profile is unclaimed and the company has not invited reviews, so it may not be representative. Reviewers complain about slow or missing support replies, unresolved refund requests, connection drops, and subscription terms, including lifetime plan transfer rules and upgrade costs. One reviewer reports a large order that was neither shipped nor refunded; that is a single unverified claim.
- Forums: search summaries of golf simulator forums and a simulator vendor's help page described the premium subscription as required for some connections; some owners reported missed shots or chip detection issues, alongside positive comments. We did not open each thread.
Nine reviews is a thin sample, so treat the score as a prompt to read the terms.
Verdict
Rapsodo is a real manufacturer with a long-standing domain and a physical address, so a "fake store" worry does not fit what we found. The cautions are different: a small, negative Trustpilot profile, no published delivery times, and paid features that sit behind a membership with no refunds. Buy only if you accept the membership cost and will test inside the 30-day window.
Checklist before you order
- Decide which features you need (simulator links, PC app, measured spin) and check the store's current membership price for them.
- Screenshot the product page, the shipping line and the return window at checkout.
- Note the free trial end date and whether a card is charged afterward.
- Register the device on arrival and keep the receipt, because the store's pages disagree on when the warranty starts.
- Test the monitor within 30 days of receipt, in the conditions you will use it.
- If you buy baseball or softball gear, factor in the $300 restocking fee.
- Pay by a method with dispute rights and keep support emails.
- Buy from the store for your own country.
What we could not confirm

- Current membership prices (the blog post we read is from November 2024).
- BBB, Reddit, SmartCustomer or Sitejabber ratings; we could not read them.
- How the different company names on the store's pages relate.
