This page reads the store's own policy pages so you know what to check before you order hair care from the PHYTO USA store. It is not a review of the products. We have not tested the store or its products, and the policies can change, so confirm the terms at checkout.

Quick answer

  • Returns: 30 days from the date on the packing list for unopened, unused items. Opened items are not accepted unless damaged or defective.
  • Return cost: the return policy says the cost of the return is deducted from your refund, and original shipping costs are not refunded.
  • Shipping: free ground shipping on orders of $75 or more; otherwise $8 economy or $18 express. The shipping page and the site banner worded the free-shipping offer differently, so check your cart.
  • Where it ships: the US store ships to US addresses only.

1. Check the product first

Before returns, check what you are buying: the product's purpose, the size, and the ingredient list. Because opened products are generally not returnable, a first order of a small size, if one exists, limits the risk.

2. Returns and refunds

From the store's return policy (no effective date shown):

  • You can return unused items within 30 days of the date on the packing list. For PayPal payments the page says returns are accepted within 30 days for a full refund.
  • Opened items are not accepted unless damaged or defective. Items in a set must be returned together.
  • "Last Chance" items are final sale unless damaged or defective, and items purchased outside the United States are excluded.
  • The cost of the return is deducted from your refund, and the original shipping cost is not refunded. The page recommends an insured, trackable method.
  • Refunds go to the original payment method within 7 to 10 business days after the return is received. Refunds through PayPal to a card can take up to 30 days.
  • To start a return you contact customer service with your order number. The page does not describe a return portal.

3. Shipping

From the shipping page (no effective date shown):

  • Economy shipping is $8 (5 to 8 business days) and express is $18 (1 to 2 business days), by USPS or UPS. Free ground shipping applies at $75 or more, with no coupon needed.
  • Orders take 1 to 2 business days to process, and orders placed before 12 PM EST usually ship the same day.
  • Orders may be billed or shipped only to US addresses, and Hawaii and Puerto Rico orders need a $200 cart minimum. Express shipping is not available for alcohol-based products and other hazardous-material items.
  • Sales tax is collected on orders to a list of states shown on the page.
