This page reads the store's own delivery, returns, terms and price pages so you know what to check before you order furniture from Choice Furniture Superstore, a UK retailer that delivers to England, Wales and (where available) mainland Scotland. If you are about to order a large or bulky item such as a corner sofa, a floor mirror, a rug or garden furniture. It is not a review of the store or its products. We have not tested either, and the policies can change, so confirm the terms at checkout.

Quick answer
- Where it delivers: free standard delivery throughout England and Wales with no minimum order; mainland Scotland costs £29.99 where available. It does not deliver to Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland, remote parts of Scotland or offshore addresses as part of its standard service.
- Standard delivery does not include carrying the furniture into your home, unpacking or assembly. The store says many larger items come with one driver, so you may need someone to help.
- Change of mind: you have 14 calendar days after receiving an item to tell the store, then 14 days to return it. You pay the return cost, and the store's collection service costs £60.
- Not returnable for a change of mind: furniture made to your specifications, furniture bought in the showroom, and ex-display furniture bought in the showroom.
- Before you order: measure doorways, hallways, staircases, lifts and turns. The store says you are responsible for checking the furniture fits.
1. Delivery
From the store's delivery page (no policy date shown):
| Service | What the page says | Cost |
|---|---|---|
| Standard | To the main entrance of your property (for a flat, possibly the ground-floor entrance or reception); no carrying in, unpacking or assembly | Free in England and Wales; £29.99 mainland Scotland where available |
| Room of Choice | Delivery into a room you choose, for eligible orders in England and Wales; no unpacking or assembly | £19.99 |
| Delivery and assembly | For selected furniture: delivery to your room, unpacking and assembly where required; packaging and rubbish removal not included | 25% of the total order value |
| Next Day / Express | On selected products marked as such: Next Day is 1 to 2 working days if ordered before 11:00 am Monday to Thursday; Express is 3 to 5 working days | Check at checkout |
- Most products are delivered within 14 working days. Made-to-order items, custom finishes and products awaiting stock may take 6 to 8 weeks or longer, and if items in one order have different lead times, the longest estimate may apply to the whole order.
- The page says each product page shows an estimated delivery time, and delivery times are estimates.
- Scheduled deliveries come with a two-hour window. Someone must be present to receive the order. If the property cannot be accessed safely, delivery may need rearranging and an additional charge may apply.
- On arrival, check you have the correct items, inspect the furniture and packaging for visible damage and tell the driver; the page says to contact the store promptly with your order number and photographs.
2. Returns
From the store's returns page:
- Cancel before delivery: email with your order number; no reason needed.
- Change of mind (online or phone orders): 14 calendar days after receiving the item to tell the store, then a further 14 days to return it. You may inspect an item as you would in a shop. Original packaging is helpful but you can request a return without it. If the item has been handled beyond what is needed to inspect it and its value reduced, a deduction may apply.
- Costs: for a change-of-mind return you pay the return cost, and the store's collection service is £60. The store says it does not charge that collection fee when an item is faulty, damaged or incorrect.
- Refund: within 14 calendar days of receiving the item back or of receiving proof you sent it, whichever is earlier. Standard delivery is refunded; any extra you paid for a more expensive service may not be.
- Showroom purchases: no change-of-mind return if you bought in the Leicester showroom, including if you later find the item doesn't fit. The same applies to ex-display furniture bought in the showroom.
- Made to your specifications: cannot be cancelled or returned because you changed your mind.
- Faulty, damaged or incorrect: contact the store with your order number and photographs, and keep the packaging where possible. The page says your rights do not end after seven or 30 days if an item is faulty.
3. Deposits, payment and price matching
- The terms say eligible orders can pay a 50% deposit when ordering, with the balance due when the furniture is in stock and ready for delivery, or you can pay in full. A deposit is part of the price, not a cancellation fee, and the terms say it cannot automatically be kept just because an order is cancelled.
- The terms say any finance arrangement has its own eligibility requirements and terms, provided before you apply.
- The store's Price Promise says it will review a lower price for an identical product from an eligible UK retailer if you send the competitor's link before you order. It lists exclusions, including marketplace listings, clearance items, bundles and expired offers. We have not tested it.
4. What to measure before ordering
The store's own advice is to measure doorways, hallways, staircases, lifts and turns, to clear a safe route and to tell it about restricted parking, steps or narrow access. Applied to common large items:
- Corner sofa: compare the listed overall dimensions with your room, and the packed or delivered size, if shown, with your narrowest door, hallway and stair turn. Ask the store whether the item arrives in one piece or in sections.
- Floor mirror: check the listed height and width against your doorways and the route, and ask how it is packed and whether anyone must help carry it.
- Rug: our rug guide explains size categories and flammability labels.
- Garden bench or furniture: our outdoor furniture guide covers materials and cushions.

5. Your UK rights
Citizens Advice says you get a 14-day cooling-off period when you buy something you haven't seen in person, unless it is bespoke or made to measure, and that standard delivery must be refunded if you return the item. It adds that you have a further 14 days to send it back after telling the seller, and that the seller has to pay the refund within 14 days of receiving it or proof you posted it. Citizens Advice also says a seller can charge the return cost if it told you before you bought. These match the store's stated terms. For faulty items, see our guides to online shopping rights and refunds and chargebacks.
Checklist before you order
- I measured the item, the doors, hallways, stairs, lifts and turns on the route.
- I know whether I need standard delivery, Room of Choice or the assembly service, and what each costs.
- I checked the estimated delivery time on the product page, and whether the item is made to order.
- I know a change-of-mind return costs me the return cost or the £60 collection fee, and what is excluded.
- I know whether I am paying a deposit and when the balance is due.
- I kept the packaging and took photographs when the item arrived.
